スエズ運河を渡って日本から運んだ鉄とガラスは12トン。重機を持ち込めない教会の中庭で、人力と梯子、滑車、ロープで組み上げた。10本のガラス柱は中庭に降り注ぐ光りを集め、プリズムの虹が太陽の動きといっしょにゆっくりと教会の芝生、回廊、石の壁を這い上がり、日暮れ前の空に消えていった。

brought iron frameworks and glass pillars, gross weight 12 tons, by way of the Suez Canal. It was assembled in the church courtyard, where heavy machinery could not be brought in, using human power, ladders, pulleys and ropes. 10 grass pillars gathered sunlight poured into the court yard, prismatic rainbow had been crawling slowly on grasses, the corridor along with the sun. At last, it crawled up the long experienced walls and faded away into the sky before sunset.
